Warri South-West Towns And Villages

Warri South-West is a riverine Local Government Area in the south-west of Delta State, Nigeria. Its headquarters sits at Ogbe-Ijoh, an Ijaw town on the Escravos River, and the area reaches the Atlantic coast.

The 2006 census counted 116,538 residents; a 2022 projection puts the figure near 159,700. The LGA covers about 1,722 square kilometres of creeks, mangrove and coastline, and its postal zone is 332.

Ten wards divide between six Itsekiri and four Ijaw. The Escravos oil and gas terminal, and the Nigeria Maritime University at Okerenkoko, anchor the local economy alongside fishing.
