Okpe Towns And Villages

Okpe is a local government area in Delta State, Nigeria. Its headquarters sits at Orerokpe, seat of the Orodje of Okpe. The Urhobo make up its people, who farm, trade and tap palm across the area.

The 2006 census counted 128,398 residents. A 2022 projection puts the figure near 176,000. Okpe holds ten wards: Orerokpe, Oviri-Okpe, Oha I, Oha II, Aghalokpe, Aragba, Mereje I, Mereje II, Mereje III and Ughoton.
