Isoko South Towns And Villages

Isoko South is a Local Government Area in Delta State, Nigeria, with its headquarters at Oleh. It sits in the Isoko-speaking south-east of the state, alongside Isoko North, whose seat is Ozoro.

The area had 235,147 residents at the 2006 census, projected to about 322,300 by 2022. Oleh carries the postal code 334101. Fishing, farming and crude-oil production drive the local economy, with major fields around Uzere, Olomoro and Oleh.

Isoko South is built around eleven clan-towns — Oleh, Aviara, Uzere, Emede, Olomoro, Igbide, Umeh, Erohwa, Enhwe, Okpolo and Irri — each with its own traditional ruler and its own farm and fishing settlements.
