Tarauni Towns And Villages
Tarauni is a metro Local Government Area inside Kano city, Kano State, Nigeria, immediately south of the old city walls. It covers about 28 square kilometres. The 2006 census recorded a population of 221,844; the 2022 projection put it near 364,900.
Tarauni LGA has no rural fringe – it is built up ward to ward, with its secretariat at Unguwa Uku. Coordinates: 11°57′31″N 8°32′39″E.
