Garun Mallam Towns And Villages

Garun Mallam is a Local Government Area in Kano State, Nigeria, on the A2 highway southwest of Kano city. Its headquarters is Garun Mallam town, and the LGA covers about 214 square kilometres.

The 2006 census counted 118,622 residents. Projections put the 2022 figure near 195,100.

Garun Mallam holds ten wards: Chiromawa, Dorawar Sallau, Fankurun, Garun Babba, Garun Mallam, Jobawa, Kadawa, Makwaro, Yad Akwari and Yalwan Yadakwari.
