Gezawa Towns And Villages
Gezawa is a Local Government Area in Kano State, Nigeria, on the city’s northeastern fringe. Its headquarters sits at Gezawa town. The LGA has eleven wards: Babawa, Gawo, Gezawa, Jogana, Ketawa, Mesar Tudu, Sararin Gezawa, Tsamiya Babba, Tumbau, Wangara and Zango.
The 2006 census counted 282,328 residents. A 2022 projection put the figure near 464,300. Farming and livestock trade anchor the local economy, alongside Kano city commuting.
