Nsit Atai is a local government area in south-east Akwa Ibom, Nigeria. 50 km from Akwa Ibom’s capital, Uyo. It’s bordered by Uruan, Okobo, and Ibesikpo Asutan Ekpe LGAs. 4°51′0′′N 8°01′0′′E

Rt.Hon.Emem Ibanga chairs Nsit Atai LGA. She’s the first female and two-term LGA chairman. She’s from Afaha Ndisiak’s Ikot Akpabio Village. Political science and public administration are her bachelor’s degrees.

Nsit Atai are Ibibio-descended and speak Ibibio. Ekpo, Ekong, Eko-ong Utah, Egre and other dances affect culture.
