Olorunda Towns And Villages
Olorunda is a Local Government Area in Osun State, Nigeria, on the edge of the Osogbo metropolis. Its headquarters sits at Igbona. The area covers about 97 square kilometres.
The 2006 census counted 131,649 residents. The 2022 projection puts the figure near 170,900. Olorunda holds eleven wards: Agowande, Balogun, Akogun, Atelewo, Owoope, Owode I, Owode II, Ayetoro, Oba-Ile, Oba Oke and Ilie.
The area is largely urban, forming part of Osogbo’s built-up core alongside Osogbo LGA itself, with a scatter of named quarters and villages inside each ward.
