Ifedayo Towns And Villages

Ifedayo is a Local Government Area in Osun State, Nigeria, one of the state’s newest LGAs, carved from the former Oke-Ila District. Its headquarters sits at Oke-Ila Orangun, at 7°57′N 4°59′E. The area covers about 128 square kilometres.

The 2006 census counted 37,508 residents; projections put the 2022 figure near 48,700. Ifedayo covers ten wards: Oyi, Ayetoro, Isinmi, Balogun, Obaale, Aworo/Oke-Ila Rural, Asaoni, Co-Operative, Akesin and Temidire, split between the historic Ora and Oke-Ila districts. The Igbomina, a Yoruba sub-group, form the majority of the population.
