Ede North is a local government area in Osun State, Nigeria, headquartered at Abere. It had a population of 83,818 at the 2006 census, projected to 108,800 in 2022, spread across 11 registration wards on the northern edge of Ede town.

Ede North shares the historic town of Ede with neighbouring Ede South LGA; the two were split from a single Ede local government. The Osun River runs along Ede’s southern flank, and the area sits about 180 kilometres southwest of Lagos on the road corridor linking Osogbo, Ogbomosho and Ile-Ife.
