Iwo Towns And Villages
Iwo is a Local Government Area in Osun State, Nigeria, and headquarters of the historic Iwo Kingdom. The town sits about 35 kilometres northwest of Osogbo.
The 2006 census counted 191,348 residents. Projections put the 2022 figure near 248,400. Iwo LGA groups its 15 registration wards under five urban districts: Isale Oba, Molete, Oke-Adan, Gidigbo and Oke-Oba.
