Atakumosa East Towns And Villages

Atakumosa East (Yoruba: Ilaorun Atakunmosa) is a Local Government Area in the eastern part of Osun State, Nigeria. Its headquarters sits in Iperindo, at roughly 7°30′N 4°49′E.

The 2006 census counted 76,105 residents. The 2022 projection puts the figure near 98,800. The LGA has ten wards: Iwara, Igangan, Ipole, Iperindo, Eti-Oni, Ayegunle, Forest Reserve I, Forest Reserve II, Faforiji and Ajebandele — two of the ten are gazetted forest reserve areas rather than town-named wards.
