Oriade Towns And Villages
Oriade is a Local Government Area in the northeast of Osun State, Nigeria, home to the Ijesa people. Its headquarters is Ijebu-Jesa, at roughly 7°41′00″N 4°49′00″E. The area covers about 465 square kilometres.
The 2006 census counted 148,379 residents. A 2022 projection puts the figure near 192,600. Oriade holds twelve wards: Erin-Oke, Erin-Ijesa, Ijebu-Jesa, Iwoye, Ikeji-Ile, Ira, Ijeji Arakeji/Owena, Apoti Dagbaja, Ipetu Ijesa I, Ipetu-Ijesa II, Ijeda Iloko and Erinmo/Iwaraja.
