Jada is a town and Local Government Area in Nigeria’s Adamawa State. As a local government territory, Jada was excavated from the Ganye local government area of Nigeria’s Adamawa state. Under Alhaji’s leadership, “Ganye,” the food basket of Adamawa state, remains the mother of the entire chamba region. Adamu Sanda (chief of the first class) and Gangwari of the Ganye local government area. Ganye, Jada, Toungo, and a portion of Mayo Belwa, the four (4) local governments named, are inhabited by Chamba people (samba or sama).
