Yewa South Towns And Villages
Yewa South, formerly Egbado South, is a Local Government Area in the west of Ogun State, Nigeria, bordering the Republic of Benin. Its headquarters sits at Ilaro, at 6°53′00″N 3°01′00″E. The area covers about 629 square kilometres.
The 2006 census counted 168,336 residents. Citypopulation.de projects the 2022 figure at 286,300. The Egbado South registration area holds ten wards: Ilaro I, Ilaro II, Ilaro III, Iwoye, Idogo, Oke Odan, Owode I, Owode II, Ilobi/Erinja and Ajilete, still under INEC’s old name for the LGA.
