Abeokuta North Towns And Villages

Abeokuta North is a Local Government Area in Ogun State, Nigeria, on the northern edge of Abeokuta city. Its headquarters sits at Akomoje. The 2006 census counted 198,793 residents; the 2022 projection put the figure near 338,100.

The LGA covers about 808 square kilometres and holds 16 wards, from Ikereku and Lafenwa in the city to Isaga Ilewo and Ibara Orile/Onisasa on the rural fringe. The Oyan Dam lies within its territory, supplying water to Lagos and Abeokuta.
