Ijebu East Towns And Villages

Ijebu East is a Local Government Area in Ogun State, Nigeria, bordered to the south by Lagos State and the Lagos Lagoon. Its headquarters sit at Ogbere on the A121 road, near 6°44â€ēN 4°10â€ēE.

The 2006 census counted 109,321 residents; the 2022 projection puts the figure near 185,900. The area covers about 2,234 square kilometres. Ijebu East is organised into 11 wards: Ijebu Mushin I, Ijebu Mushin II, Ijebu Ife I, Ijebu Ife II, Owu, Ikija, Itele, Ogbere, Imobi I, Imobi II and Ajebandele.
