Ogun Waterside Towns And Villages
Ogun Waterside is the only Ogun state LGA with a coastline, fronting the Bight of Benin and the Lagos Lagoon in the state’s southeast. Its headquarters sit at Abigi, roughly 6°29′N 4°24′E, and the LGA covers about 1,000 km2 across ten wards: Iwopin, Oni, Ibiade, Lukogbe/Ilusin, Abigi, Efire, Ayede/Lomiro, Ayila/Itebu, Makun/Irokun and Ode-Omi.
The 2006 census counted 74,222 people; the National Population Commission’s 2022 projection put the figure at 126,200.
