Ijebu-Ode Towns And Villages

Ijebu-Ode is a city and Local Government Area in the Ijebu region of Ogun State, Nigeria, about 110 kilometres north of Lagos by road. It sits roughly 100 kilometres from the Atlantic Ocean in the eastern part of the state and is the traditional seat of the Awujale of Ijebuland.

The 2006 census counted 157,161 residents. The 2022 projection put the figure near 267,300. Ijebu-Ode LGA is built almost entirely around the town itself and covers eleven wards: Isoku/Ososa, Odo-Esa, Itantebo/Itaogbin, Ijade/Imepe I, Ijade/Imepe II, Porogun I, Porogun II, Ijasi/Idepo, Odo-Egbo/Oliworo, Isiwo and Itamapako.
