Sagamu Towns And Villages
Sagamu is a Local Government Area in Ogun State, Nigeria, sited along the Ibu River between Lagos and Ibadan. The Remo branch of the Yoruba people founded it in the mid-19th century, and its headquarters sits at Makun in Sagamu town.
The 2006 census counted 255,885 residents. Projections put the 2022 figure near 435,200. Sagamu holds 15 registration areas, among them Sabo I, Sabo II, Isokun/Oyebajo, Ijagba, Latawa, Ode-Lemo, Ogijo/Likosi, Surulere, Isote, Simawa/Iwelepe, Agbowa and Ibido/Ituwa/Alara.
