Ipokia Towns And Villages

Anago kingdom’s metropolitan headquarters is Ipokia. It is an old kingdom in the former Oyo empire.

Unlike the other kingdoms that were involved in the internecine battles that decimated Yorubaland in the nineteenth century, Ipokia remained an unconquered sanctuary city-state throughout the period.

It has a land area of 629 km2 and a population of 150,426 people according to the 2006 census.
