Oyigbo is a Local Government Area in Rivers State, Nigeria, on the northeastern edge of Port Harcourt along the Aba road.
Its headquarters is Oyigbo town, home to Ndoki communities and the Afam thermal power stations.
Oyigbo covers about 248 km². It recorded 125,331 people at the 2006 census; the National Population Commission projected about 180,300 residents by 2022.
The postal code for Oyigbo town is 502103; the Ndoki side of the LGA uses 502104. Hon. Okechukwu Akara is the current Executive Chairman of Oyigbo Local Government Area.
