Ahoada East is a Local Government Area in Rivers State, Nigeria, seated in the town of Ahoada. The Ekpeye people are the main indigenous group, organized into the Ahoada, Akoh and Uppata clans.

Ahoada East recorded 166,324 people at the 2006 census. The National Population Commission’s 2022 projection put the LGA at about 239,200 residents.
