Vandeikya Towns And Villages
Vandeikya is a Local Government Area in Benue State, Nigeria, in the state’s southeast. The 2006 census counted 234,567 people; the 2022 projection puts the figure near 338,700. The LGA covers about 687 square kilometres, with its headquarters at Vandeikya town.
The Kunav clan of the Tiv people farm and trade across 12 wards: Mbadede, Mbatyough, Mbagbam, Mbagbera, Mbajor, Mbakaange, Mbakyaha, Mbayongo, Ningev, Tsambe, Vandeikya Township and Mbanyumangbagh. Vandeikya borders Obudu and Bekwara in Cross River State to the east, Ushongo to the north and Konshisha to the west.
