Tangaza is a Local Government Area in Sokoto State, Nigeria, headquartered at Gidan Madi. It had a population of 114,770 at the 2006 census, projected to 198,100 by 2022, spread across a land area of about 2,477 km2. Tangaza borders the Republic of Niger to the north.
