Gudu Towns And Villages
Gudu is a Local Government Area in Sokoto State, Nigeria, on the border with the Republic of Niger. Its headquarters sits at Balle. The area covers about 3,478 square kilometres.
The 2006 census counted 95,400 residents. Projections put the 2022 figure near 164,700. Gudu holds ten wards: Awulkiti, Bachaka, Balle, Chilas/Makuya, Gwazange/Boto, Karfen Chana, Karfen Sarki, Kurdula, Maraken Bori and Tulun Doya.
Gudu borders the Republic of Niger to the north and west, Kebbi State to the south, Binji LGA to the southeast, and Tangaza LGA to the east.
