Oru East, Isu, Mbaitoli, Orlu, and Nkwerre surround Njaba LGA. Njaba LGA lies east of Oru East LGA, with Awo-Omamma being the nearest border town overlooking Okwudor. NJALGA’s western boundary is with Awo-omamma via Okwudor. Obor, Umutanze, Umudioka, and Umuowa in Orlu LGA border the north and northeast. NJALGA is bordered on the west and south-west by Isu’s Amurie-Omanze and Ekwe Communities and on the south by Mbaitoli’s Orodo, Eziama Obiato, and Afara towns abutting Umuaka. Njaba River separates NJALGA’s Umuaka from Isu’s Ekwe Community in the west.
NJALGA is located in a substantially reinforced rain forest and valleyed terrain, notably in Umuaka and Okwudor.
