Nwangele Towns And Villages

In the Nigerian state of Imo, you’ll find Nwangele as a Local Government Area. The name originates from the well-known Nwangele river, which serves as the dividing line between Amaigbo and Umuozu Isu.

It is thought that the town of Isiekenesi is where the river began its journey, and it travels through a number of communities in Amaigbo before emptying into Oramiriukwa, which is a tributary of the Imo River. Amaigbo serves as the organization’s headquarters.

According to the census completed in 2006, it had a total population of 127,691 people and an area of 63 km2 (24 sq mi).
