Ideato South residents grow cash and food crops. Food crops include yams, cassava, cocoyam, breadfruit, three leaf yam, etc. Traders.

Ezes, Nzes, Ozo title holders, Durunzes, etc., are the culture’s keepers. Ideato South has Eastern Palm University. Ideato South population are mostly Catholics and Anglicans.
