Isu Towns And Villages
Isu is a Local Government Area in Imo State, Nigeria, named for the Isu subgroup of the Igbo people. Its headquarters sits at Umundugba. The area holds five principal communities: Umundugba, Amandugba, Ekwe, Amurie Omanze and Isu-Njaba, plus the villages of Uburu Ekwe, Ebenator Ekwe and Oboro Amurie.
The 2006 census recorded a population of 228,400 residents in Isu.
