ka (Ika-Annang) is a Local Government Area within the Nigerian state of Akwa Ibom.  Urua Inyang is the seat of the Ika local government area. Ika is broken into clans Urban (1 & II), Ito (1, II, and III), Achan (1 & II), and Odoro (1 & II), as well as more than 50 villages with a same cultural performance known as Akakum dubbed Afum (meaning wind). Mostly displayed during Christmas.

Ika is one of Akwa Ibom’s 31 local government areas. Annang people (Ika-Annang) were once in the old Abak, which was partitioned into five new local governments: Abak, Oruk-Anam, Etim-Ekpo, Ukanafun, and Ika.

Igbo villages are located in Ika Local Government Area. Ikot Inyang (formerly known as Oboeze, meaning Umubueze (People of Kings) in Igbo) has significant Igbo ties.

Akwa Ibom’s Ika speaks an Annang dialect.
