Ejigbo is a notable town in Yoruba Land and the capital of Ejigbo Local Government Area, one of the oldest local government districts in Nigeria’s Osun State.
Ejigbo is strategically located in the centre of the area, 35 kilometres (22 miles) north-east of Iwo, 30 kilometres (19 miles) north of Ogbomoso, and 24 kilometres (15 miles) south-east of Ede.
It lies around 40 kilometres (25 miles) north-west of Osogbo, the state capital of Osun, and 95 kilometres (59 miles) north-east of Ibadan. It is part of the federal constituency of Ede North/Ede South/Egbedore/Ejigbo.
