Isiala Ngwa North is a Local Government Area in Abia State, Nigeria, with its headquarters at Okpuala-Ngwa.

It borders Ikwuano and Umuahia South to the north and Isiala Ngwa South to the south, covering about 283 square kilometres.

The 2006 census counted 154,083 people; the National Bureau of Statistics projected about 224,400 residents by 2022.
