Kurmi Towns And Villages
Kurmi is a Local Government Area in Taraba State, Nigeria, on the southern edge of the state along the Cameroon border. Its headquarters sits at Baissa.
The 2006 census counted 91,282 residents. Projections put the 2022 figure near 143,600. Kurmi holds ten wards: Abong, Akwento/Boko, Ashuku/Eneme, Baissa, Bente/Galea, Bissaula, Didan, Ndaforo/Geanda, Njuwande and Nyido/Tosso.
Kurmi borders Cameroon to the south, Sardauna LGA to the east, Donga LGA to the north and north-west, Bali LGA to the north, and Ussa LGA to the west.
