Karim Lamido is a Local Government Area in Taraba, headquartered in Karim Lamido town at roughly 9°18′00″N 11°12′00″E. Its 2006 census population was 193,924, projected to 305,100 by 2022.
The Benue River forms the LGA’s southern boundary, and the historic town of Muri, once seat of the Muri Emirate, sits within its territory.
