Ile Oluji/Okeigbo Towns And Villages

Ile Oluji/Okeigbo is a local government area in Ondo State, Nigeria, headquartered at Ile-Oluji. The LGA had a population of 171,876 at the 2006 census, projected to 264,000 by 2022, and covers the twin towns of Ile-Oluji and Oke-Igbo across ten registration wards.

Ile-Oluji is a major cocoa-producing and cocoa-processing centre — Cocoa Products (Ile-Oluji) Limited is one of West Africa’s largest cocoa processors, supplying powder, cake, butter and liquor to buyers including Promasidor Nigeria, Nestle and Fan Milk. Farmers across the LGA also grow cassava, yam, maize and oil palm.
