Etsako East is a Local Government Area in Edo State, Nigeria, with its headquarters at Agenebode on the Niger River. The 2006 census counted 145,996 residents; the 2022 projection puts the figure near 217,700. The area’s postal code is 312107.

The LGA covers three traditional groupings: the riverine Weppa-Wanno kingdom around Agenebode, the Okpella clan on the Benin-Abuja highway (home to the BUA and Dangote cement plants), and Okpekpe town in North Ibie. It holds ten wards: Agenebode, Wanno I, Wanno II, Weppa, Okpella I, Okpella II, Okpella III, Okpella IV, Three Ibies and Okpekpe.
