Adavi is a Local Government Area in Kogi State, Nigeria, headquartered at Ogaminana. It borders Edo State to the south and shares its northern boundary with Lokoja and Kogi (Koton Karfe) LGAs.
According to the 2006 census, Adavi had a population of 217,219, projected to 292,800 by 2022 (citypopulation.de). The LGA covers 718 km².
