Bonneville County is a county in the state of Idaho in the United States.

As of the 2020 census, the county had a population of 123,964.

This made it the fourth most populous county in Idaho and the most populous in eastern Idaho. Idaho Falls is the county seat and biggest city.

Bonneville County was made in 1911. It was named for Benjamin Bonneville, a French-born U.S. Army officer, fur trapper, and explorer in the American West who lived from 1796 to 1878.

The Idaho Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area includes Bonneville County.

The county has a total area of 1,901 square miles (4,920 km2), of which 1,866 square miles (4,830 km2) are land and 35 square miles (91 km2) (1.8%) are water, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
