Orelope Towns And Villages
Orelope is a Local Government Area in Oyo State, Nigeria. Its headquarters sits at Igboho, and the area covers about 917 square kilometres.
The 2006 census counted 104,004 residents. Projections put the 2022 figure near 148,600. Orelope holds ten wards: Alepata, Aare, Bonni, Igbope/Iyeye I, Igbope/Iyeye II, Igi Isubu, Onibode I, Onibode II, Onibode III and Onigboho/Alomo/Okere.
Igboho, the LGA headquarters, sits astride the old Oyo-Ile trade route and remains a market town for the surrounding farm settlements.
