Kaura Towns And Villages

Kaura is a Local Government Area in Kaduna State, Nigeria, in the Southern Kaduna hill country. Its headquarters is Kaura town. The area covers about 461 square kilometres and had 174,626 residents at the 2006 census, projected to roughly 258,000 by 2022.

Kaura sits in Atyap (Nienzit) country, home to the Asholyia, Agworok (Kagoro), Takad and Atyap Proper communities across ten wards: Fada, Kukum, Kpak, Agban, Kadarko, Mallagum, Manchok, Bondon, Kaura and Zankan. It borders Zangon Kataf and Kauru LGAs to the west and north, Jema’a LGA to the south, and Plateau State to the east.
