Boki Towns And Villages

Boki is a Local Government Area in Cross River State, Nigeria, on the state’s eastern border with Cameroon. Its headquarters sits at Boje. The 2006 census counted 186,611 residents; a 2022 projection put the figure at 284,200.

Boki holds 11 wards: Abo, Alankwu, Beebo/Bumaji, Boje, Buda, Buentsebe, Bunyia/Okubuchi, Ekpashi, Kakwagom/Bawop, Ogep/Osokom and Oku/Borum/Njua, grouped into six traditional clans — Abo, Boje, Eastern Boki, Irruan, Osokom I and Osokom II. The Boki (Bokyi) people farm cocoa, coffee, timber and palm produce across the area’s rainforest terrain. Boje’s postal code is 551106.
