King County is a county in the state of Texas in the United States.
As of the 2020 Census, there were 265 people living there.
This made it the second least populated county in Texas and the third least populated county in the whole country.
King County does not have any cities or towns. Guthrie, which is a census-designated place (CDP), is the county seat.
The county was made in 1876, and in 1891 it was put together.
It is named after William Philip King, who died at the Battle of the Alamo.
The county has a total area of 913 square miles (2,360 km2), of which 911 square miles (2,360 km2) are land and 2.5 square miles (6.5 km2) (0.3%) are water, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
