Claiborne Parish, which is also called Paroisse de Claiborne in French, is a parish in the northwest of the U.S. state of Louisiana.

The parish was made in 1828, and it was named after William C. C. Claiborne, who was the first governor of Louisiana.

As of the census in 2020, there were 14,170 people living there.

Homer is the seat of the parish.

The parish has a total area of 767 square miles (1,990 km2), of which 755 square miles (1,960 km2) are land and 13 square miles (34 km2) (1.6%) are water, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
