Efon is a Local Government Area in Ekiti State, Nigeria, in the state’s western corner near the Osun State border. Its headquarters sits at Efon-Alaaye. The area covers about 232 square kilometres and had 86,941 residents at the 2006 census.

Efon-Alaaye is the seat of the Alaaye of Efon, and the LGA is split into ten electoral wards, Efon I through Efon X. It borders Ijebu-Ijesa and Esa-Oke in Osun State to the west and north, Erio Ekiti to the east, and Ogotun Ekiti to the south. The postal code for the area is 362104.
