Bokkos Towns And Villages
Bokkos is a Local Government Area in Plateau State, Nigeria, in the state’s southwestern highlands. Its headquarters sits at Bokkos town, at roughly 9°18′N 9°00′E. The area covers about 1,682 square kilometres and is home to the Ron people, whose Ron languages remain widely spoken.
The 2006 census counted 179,550 residents. Projections put the 2022 figure near 264,100. Bokkos holds 14 wards: Bokkos, Butura, Daffo, Damwai, Kwatas, Mangor, Mbar/Mangar, Manguna, Mushere Central, Mushere West, Richa, Sha, Tangur and Toff.
