Kwango is a province in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It is one of the 21 provinces created with the 2015 redistribution.
The old Bandundu province was divided into three provinces: Kwango, Kwilu, and Mai-Ndombe.
Kwango was founded from the Kwango district, with Kenge serving as the province’s main city.
The province is named after the Kwango River, a tributary of the Kasai River that forms part of the DRC’s international border with Angola.

The capital of Kwango district is Kenge. Other towns include Popokabaka, Feshi, Kasongo Lunda, Lusanga and Kahemba. The province is in the southwest of the DRC, bordering Angola to the south. Territories are:
