Union County is a county in Mississippi, United States.
Tippah and Pontotoc counties merged to form it in 1870, and a portion of Lee County was added in 1874.
The population was 27,777 at the time of the 2020 census.[2] New Albany is the county seat.
The county has a total area of 417 square miles (1,080 km2), of which 416 square miles (1,080 km2) is land and 1.3 square miles (3.4 km2) (0.3%) is water, according to the United States Census Bureau.
