It is in the south-central part of the state.
As of the 2020 U.S. Census, there were 1,438 people living there.
This made it the second-least populated county in Utah.
The county seat is Junction and Circleville is the biggest town.
At 9.893 ft (3.015 m) above sea level (ASL), the highest point on the eastern rise is a crest near the county’s north border.
The county covers a total area of 766 square miles (1,980 square kilometres), of which 758 square miles (1,960 square kilometres) are land and 7.9 square miles (20 square kilometres) are water, or 1%.
It has the fifth-smallest size of any county in Utah.
