Perry County is a county in the southwestern part of the state of Indiana in the United States.
As of 2010, there were 19,338 people living there.
Tell City is the county seat. It has the most hills and one of the most forests in Indiana.
The Hoosier National Forest covers more than 60,000 acres (240 km2) of the county.
The southern edge of the county is made up of Indiana State Road 66 and the Ohio River Scenic Byway. Interstate 64 goes through the northern part of the county.
Indiana State Road 37 goes between the two places.
According to the 2010 census, the county covers a total area of 386.29 square miles (1,000.5 km2), of which 381.73 square miles (988.7 km2) (or 98.82%) is land and 4.56 square miles (11.8 km2) (or 1.18%) is water.
